The Art of the Process
Every project follows a clear, four‑phase process so you always know what’s happening and why. From the first audit of your existing range through to final production‑ready files, I focus on building a collection that feels considered, commercially strong and true to your brand.

Phase 01
Audit & Discovery
We begin by deep-diving into your brand’s DNA. This phase is about clarity. Identifying your market position, aesthetic goals, and the storytelling potential of your upcoming collection.
Establishing the Foundation
Review the existing portfolio
Identifying your market position, aesthetic goals, and storytelling potential.
Define the target customer and key markets
Deep-diving into your brand’s DNA to ensure commercial relevance.
Clarify price tier and margin objectives
Establishing the financial foundation for product development.
Assess competitor positioning
Understanding the landscape to carve out a unique aesthetic space.
Align design ambition with production capabilities
Ensuring creative vision translates perfectly to technical output.

Phase 02
Creative Direction
The Creative Direction phase is to translate our commercial objectives into a tangible
visual identity. The focus here is to move beyond surface-level trends and develop a
story-led narrative that ensures the collection is both relevant and distinctive within the
market.

Curate a visual Identity
Develop curated mood boards
Establish a refined visual language that aligns with the market positioning and sets a cohesive tonal direction before design development begins.
Define the core narrative framework
To ensure the collection feels story led and distinctive, creating depth and exclusivity.
Establish a considered colour palette
To build market appropriate palettes that enhance percieved richness across multiple SKUs.
Structure the collection
To create a balanced range that drives visual impact, whilst offering versatility within coordinates.
Align concepts with production methods
Ensuring scale, layers and drawn details are developed with the desired production techniques in mind.
Value of this phase
By creating a concept framework, it lays the foundation for a collection that feels commercially viable, forward looking and cohesive, setting it up for long term success rather than short term trend appeal. By aligning design ambition with technical production methods from the outset can justify premium pricing.
Phase 03
Concept Development
This phase transitions the ideas we explored into to physical assets, utilising a hybrid
design approach that merges traditional artistry with modern technical precision. We will
explore a variety of scales and repeats to ensure the final collection is both cohesive and
versatile for luxury interiors.

Explore Designs
Initial design sketches and conceptual layouts
To rapidly test multiple visual ideas so only the strongest concepts move into high-fidelity development.
Creation of original artwork
Original hand-painted artworks digitised and refined using advanced CAD tools.
Repeat and scale development
Technical exploration of pattern repeats (straight, half-drop) and varied scales, ensuring the collection offers a balanced mix of dramatic hero motifs and supporting coordinates or textures that complement each other in a space.
Low-res design roomset mock-ups
To allow for real-world assessment of scale and colour before moving to the final production stage.
Final production-ready files
High-resolution, colour-separated Photoshop files optimised for digital, rotary or flexo printing.
Value of this phase
The goal of this phase is to transform the Creative Direction into a market-ready product range. By considering repeats, scales and production techniques early on, we reduce technical friction and ensure the final collection is cohesive, high-value and ready for the luxury market.
Phase 04
Review & Refine
This final phase provides a dedicated period for collaborative review and technical fine-tuning. It ensures that every detail of the collection, from aesthetic flow to technical
print readiness, is polished to meet the highest luxury standards before moving to bulk manufacturing.

Finishing touches
Final file amendments
Adjusted master files incorporating all necessary design or technical revisions.
Collection review and feedback loop
Final presentation of the full collection for stakeholder review, with the opportunity to evaluate the range as a cohesive whole and ensure the narrative and visual direction are consistently applied across every SKU.
Colourway refinement
Finalised colourways and small tweaks to coordinate the collection as a whole.
Production-ready layered digital files
High-resolution, colour-separated final files optimised for digital, rotary or flexo printing. (Screen separations can be added as an additional service.)
Value of this phase
This phase acts as a quality-control bridge between creative development and physical production. By investing time in rigorous reviews and amendments, we reduce the risk of costly errors and ensure the final product is a precise realisation of the strategic vision—forward-looking, commercially viable and ready for a successful luxury launch.
Polished Delivery
Feedback Loop
Collaborative reviews and technical adjustments based on production requirements.
Final files prepped for manufacture, ensuring the highest luxury standard.
Market Ready
The benefit is a collection that is commercially viable and distinctively artisanal.
